American Pickers star Danielle Colby reveals shocking twist on show’s future after insisting it was CANCELED

AMERICAN Pickers star Danielle Colby has shared an update on the show’s future after insisting it was canceled.

The reality star claimed in December that the long-running History Channel series wasn’t returning after 27 seasons.

However, she’s now walking back her statement and announced that filming has resumed.

On Monday, Danielle posted a flyer on Instagram revealing she’s accepting leads in Iowa and Illinois for the show’s next season.

The flyer also featured a photo of the TV personality pointing out a cameraman filming behind her.

“Here we go again folks! I admit I was wrong… I thought we were done, but nooooo….” Danielle wrote in her caption.

“You all demanded more of @americanpickers so we are gonna deliver. I’m excited to be with my crew again! I’ve missed them all,” she added.

Danielle’s co-star Mike Wolfe also shared the post on his Stories, seemingly confirming that another season is coming.

There’s been no formal announcement from American Pickers or The History Channel about the show’s return as of this writing.

Fans were ecstatic about the news, as it’s been months since a new episode aired.

“Awesome I was hoping for more episodes. I constantly watch the reruns,” one person commented.

“Love this so much!!!” another reacted.

“Oh yeah!! I can turn my television on again. The show is entertaining and educational,” a third said.

“Heck yah. This rules!!!” a fourth added.

Season 27 concluded with Episode 12, titled “Grooves and Gasoline Dreams,” on April 12.

It was a shocking turn of events as Danielle revealed just months earlier that the show was “done” for good.

“I just found out that American Pickers is done!” she said in a lengthy video on her 50th birthday.

“I am at this epic crossroads…Without the financial support of American Pickers, its going to be a wild one.”

Despite Danielle’s claims, a source insisted that the show would return, and a new spin-off series was in the works.

A new History Channel series, History’s Greatest Picks with Mike Wolfe, premiered in February.

Mike and Danielle, who moonlights as a burlesque dancer and museum owner, host American Pickers alongside Robbie Wolfe and Jon “Jersey” Szalay.

Frank Fritz originally co-hosted the show before his firing in 2020 and tragic death in 2024 after suffering a stroke.
